LaDainian Tomlinson, Running Back, San Diego Chargers

Okay, fine, he has a very good surrounding cast.  Sure, he’s probably a bit overrated.  I know, running backs aren’t that important.

But have you seen this guy play?  Tomlinson is an incredible talent on the field, probably one of the silkiest backs in the league since Mr. Sanders retired.  He’s a tough runner, and even though his performance in last year’s playoffs was odd–either he was really hurt or he quit, and I think he was hurt–Tomlinson is worthy of the accolades placed upon him.

To be honest, I had a lot of options here, but none of them sounded better than LaDainian Tomlinson.
