Carson Palmer, Quarterback, Cincinnati Bengals

I could not compel myself to take anyone else.  Sure, LaDainian Tomlinson is good, very good.  But a great quarterback–and Palmer is still a very good quarterback–is worth more than a good back.  Palmer still did well in 07-08, completing nearly 65% of his passes and YPA-ing 7.2  Those are good numbers, and it should be noted that Palmer has an idiotic head coach (and offensive coordinator) coupled with a less than average offensive line.  Ocho Cinco and TJ Houshmanzadeh are good receivers, but they don’t compare with the options the four above have (minus Ben).   So, with a bit of reluctance, I am taking Palmer.
